Finalists for 2025 Industry Leaders & Awards

Austmine and AusIMM have announced the finalists for the 2025 Industry Leaders & Awards, celebrating excellence across Australia’s world-leading mining and mining equipment, technology and services (METS) sectors.

Winners will be announced on 21 May at the Industry Leaders & Awards Dinner held as part of the Global Resources Innovation Expo (GRX25) in Brisbane.

The annual awards highlight the achievements of individuals and organisations who are shaping the future of the resource sector, from driving forward innovation and operational excellence to expanding Australia’s global footprint and mentoring the next generation of industry leaders.

The event will bring together more than 1000 industry professionals to recognise leadership, innovation and impact across five major award categories.

Craig Senger Excellence in Export Award (Supported by Austrade)

This award celebrates Australian METS companies demonstrating outstanding export growth, impact in global markets and the successful transfer of Australian expertise to international operations.

Exceptional Innovation in Mining Award (Sponsored by Sandvik)

This category recognises mining companies that are pioneering new approaches to mine development, production and sustainability, turning vision into action and setting new benchmarks for the sector.

Outstanding Innovative METS Company Award (Sponsored by Coal Australia)

This award shines a spotlight on METS companies that are redefining what’s possible through new technologies, creative thinking and agile solutions.

Recognising individuals in the early stages of their careers, this award celebrates emerging professionals who are already making a mark through technical excellence and leadership.
