BUENOS AIRES, 23 May 2025
Executive Chairman of Hancock Prospecting, Mrs Gina Rinehart AO, together with a team including Executive Director Tad Watroba, attended Arminera 2025. This event is Argentina’s premier mining trade show and was held in Buenos Aires on 20-22 May 2025.
Mrs Rinehart conducted a number of meetings at the trade show and toured the various stands showcasing their equipment and technology from around the world.
“Argentina is a country blessed by plentiful mineral resources, but until the election and reforms of President Milei it’s resources and mining industry had largely been undeveloped. President Javier Milei is changing this, introducing reforms at the national level, including cutting government tape for mining projects to encourage investment in Argentina. Argentina under President Milei has achieved in a short period of time to offer a very attractive environment for investing in mining projects, (and unlike in Australia, ) investment is rushing in and many projects are being progressed.. Mrs Rinehart observed.
